it's a good week. and yes, it's only tuesday. the house is clean and in order. laundry is going. my girl is happy with a couple bouncy balls and i'm getting my to-do list ready for the rest of the week. we spent the morning watching the smurfs at the local theater...
my girl | those legs are getting lanky, she's always pushing back strands of hair from her eyes and she's got an interesting sense of humor, for sure. her little brain is always on the go. and she always has something to say. this morning was no different.

you guys. i have to tell you... i hate being alone. i can get really paranoid and i freak out easily. which means on nights like tonight, when it's just me and the girl pal, i'm disguising my terror as a girls night in mama's room!!!
so we've got double chocolate chip cookies...
i posted about this etsy shop last week. well, in our hurry to tear open the package of headbands and try them out, we may have gotten a bit excited and untwisted my favorite one. and of course, once i got home to edit photos is when i realized we never fixed it.
so here's how it should...
the weekend of the dads! ours was pretty low-key. M worked a little, we planted some shrubs, made delicious food, played in the backyard, watched a movie.
but my favorite part was reconnecting with each other. i got lost in a sea of things lately and i think we both got a little clouded on why...
how does one start after they've not posted for almost two weeks? i never meant to disappear but people visited, things happened, life was lived.
while i do have lots of update on, i'm still trying to sort it all out before i can get the words here so instead i am gonna share freaking cute photos...
we went to charleston this weekend. l bumped her head on accident so we ducked into an alley and did lots of silly things to get her smiling again. and of course, i documented it.
