CHRISTMAS BREAK

We're a few days into Christmas vacation and we're not missing school and routines just yet! It's fun to have a mini-break for L and not stress over getting enough sleep for preschool the next morning. And it's been so great having M around during the evenings and not tucked away doing homework or in a night class.  We continued our little tradition and celebrated the end of another semester with some chocolate-covered strawberries from our favorite grocery store recently.

We're gonna soak up as much time as we have together before the New Year hits, but I'm sure by then we'll be craving to get back into some fresh (and some old!) routines. Lucky for us, Campus Book Rentals is giving us a hand when it comes to the textbooks.

I hate buying college textbooks. They're expensive and the bookstore almost never buys your books back from you. I love that M is earning a degree, but I really hate the book-buying process. But the past few semesters, we've discovered Campus Book Rentals and the process is genius. Rent your books online, use 'em (you can even highlight in them!) then return them in the prepaid envelope they send. It's easy. There is free shipping both ways and rental prices are 40-90% cheaper than bookstores.

Like I said, the past few semesters M has used their website for his textbooks. And this year, they have something new going on. They've started a program called RentBack that allows you to rent textbooks you own to other students giving you the chance to make more money than normal buy-back scenarios at your local college bookstore. I'm sure we've got a book or two laying around the house that we can't use - who doesn't?

But, my favorite thing about renting from the company is that they donate to Operation Smile with every book rental. This provides life-saving surgeries to children around the world. And doesn't that make you want to smile?

We'll definitely be using their services next semester, but until then, we'll be enjoying the rest of our holiday break!

I was compensated for this sponsored post but all opinions are 100% mine!
