We can never seem to get our fill of New York squeezed into the days we have there. There's just too much to see and do and more hot pretzels than we have time to eat. If L had it her way, she'd take the train everywhere and find every. single. park in all the boroughs. I mean, the girl knows what she wants in life.

And this trip felt extra squished. Lots of family to see, a promise to a little one that we'd find an awesome park and a very special quinceaƱera to be part - things felt a little crazy. But we ran with it anyways. We never did find that awesome park but that cool slide seemed to do the trick after a long afternoon at the zoo. We ate pretzels on the street corner and showed L the ropes of riding the subway during rush hour.

It was a good trip.
