We did Disney the week before last. Mickey ears perk up the bedrooms, a large (and expensive!) balloon is still floating around and we're all feeling a little like we should just go back already.

I never realized Disney could do that to you, but family vacations - you're pretty okay in my book! The kids were amazing. Minus a few "are we there yet? and it's taking too long" and a not-so-fun meltdown in Animal Kingdom, they were SO good.

We kept it simple and only did two days - one at Magic Kingdom and one at Animal Kingdom and spent our traveling days checking out Downtown Disney.  Then there were poolside dinners with movies, treats in the parks, sleeping together in a tiny hotel room! I'm determined to come up with family vacation ideas every summer. It's just the best!

I'll post the rest of our trip this week!
