We took a family trip to Playland while in New York. The kids and I had
never been before and I was pretty excited about the retro carnival
rides and the hand-spun cotton candy that was literally bigger than our
heads.
L's favorite was the carousel - hands down. We rode it over and over again. And the excitement on her face when she realized she could sit on the horse without needing us to hold on to her? Worth every penny we paid.
We played too many rounds of the crane machine. We didn't win. Rode a few kiddie rides. Munched on cotton candy. And, wore sweaters! Well, the kids did. The night got chilly and it felt like Fall and I'm still dreaming over sweaters and crunchy leaves since it's SO. HOT. HERE.
